Where is Pinehurst, exactly? It seems to be bigger than I thought. Is there more than one town here?
The "Pinehurst area" is a descriptive term that is frequently used to describe what locals call the Sandhills region of North Carolina. People who aren't yet familiar with this part of Heaven are often surprised to learn that the Village of Pinehurst is just one of 12 incorporated towns here in Moore County, all with their own unique charms and features. In fact, that lack of recognition for some of the other towns makes them all the more attractive. Often we find incredible homes and neighborhoods located in beautiful places, out of the spotlight, perhaps, but still just as charming and just as desirable.

This is not as comprehensive as the Market Snapshot discussed earlier, but it will give you a quick picture of what's happening in Pinehurst and Southern Pines.
